Galla Festival

Throughout the days and weeks of winters, people would begin to feel a strange warmth on the wind. It didn’t linger and didn’t disturb the season at all, but it was noticeable. During the day people could catch the odd cloud seemingly being smeared into existence across the sky, taking shape in the form of killer waves. At night new stars rocketed across the skies before bursting into shimmering sparkles, never to be seen again.

Throughout the Kingdom many noticeboards now had a rather noticeable sheet of metal hammered into them. Its edges filled with imagery of heroes on beaches, an island volcano and swimsuit wearing participants. In its center read:

‘INCOMIIING. You, yes you, are invited to participate in a totally radical summertime getaway. Throw on your swimsuit and prepare for a totally tubular time! You don’t have to come to us, we will come to you and wash you away to our island retreat. Watch the surf dude, and see you soon!’
