The server has moved to Minecraft 1.21.11, bringing new textures, blocks, and custom items into the world. Polo has put together a handy update guide on the discord under Announcements inside the Server-updates chat. This will walk you through the entire update process, or how to set up your minecraft for the server for the first time. All of it is optional, but is highly recommended if you want to see builds as intended as well as our custom textures.
With the update we’ll be getting several new textures from the Item’s Adder plugin, as well as from the Conquest resource pack. The 1.21.11 version of minecraft also features several new blocks for building and decorating with. A variety of new copper blocks, lightning rods, a new chest, a new wood type, shelves, ground leaves, bushes, and a great deal more. As well as general game performance improvements.
Spring Refreshes
Spring brings fresh reasons to venture beyond familiar roads. From new encounters across the map to improvements behind the scenes. This will come alongside our usual map tweaks and loot changes tied to staff work and events. The goal being to keep the map and world fresh with new general loot and encounters or world changes as each year passes.
Each IC year, throughout the spring season, staff will be making a pass over the several areas of the map, adding new loot, encounters, items, and possibly even locations, as well as updating existing places. This is in addition to our usual ongoing work, and several locations have already received attention over the last two springs.
New encounter signs are also appearing around the world. Keep your eyes open on your travels, a place location you’ve seen before may have something new.
In addition with the spring updates, the bounty boards have been updated, and more bounties are already written and ready to post. These will appear as current bounties are claimed, or after enough time has passed to keep the boards moving. In addition some small towns are getting notice boards with NPC help requests tied to different staff members that can be pursued. This is still a test feature and we’ll see how it goes. There will likely be a brief period between jobs you take as well just to keep one player or group of players from trying to do all of them alone.
We’re moving from More Player Models to Figura, opening up more creative possibilities while moving away from the limitations and slow updates of our current setup.
To help everyone get started, a new model-share channel will be added under Discord’s Creative category. Use it to share your models, discuss ideas, and ask for help with Figura. Staff member Polo and Spaz has volunteered to help people as best as he can during the transition to get them set up and answer questions. Staff will also be providing an add-on made by staff member Spaz that will offer premade setups for each race.
Several plugins are planned:
We’re exploring a possible feat system to give characters small opportunities for advancement beyond equipment, supernatural abilities, and divine championships.
This system is still being refined. It is a proposal in development, with more work needed before implementation.
The website is receiving major updates. Some changes are already live such as the new timeline, with more coming soon. More will be added and is being worked on, such as our stat example sheet. We hope to have the website mostly content complete soon.

As we wrap up the plugins, website, and new systems we plan to put some effort towards new server banners, icons, and advertisement art to be posted on various minecraft forums and voting websites. We’ll also be bringing back the website voting links and encouraging players to invite friends and help promote the server where they can!
