Citizens of Saphriel and Manadh Calad,
There is now a duck island in Crescent Lake, the body of water at Falkvard’s northwest end! It has signs to note its purpose. Please be aware this is government ground and may not be altered in any way. The purpose of this island is to allow a place where ducks will gather through the year to lay eggs and safely move about.
Such things were more common in the city-state days but most have been ruined through war. Through earth and plant magic we now have a new, publically accessible space. Citizens are allowed to hunt for ducks or duck eggs on this island to help feed their home or to sell at markets. A hunting permit is required so be sure to have it on you if a guard checks your boat there.
Keep hunts reasonable, no more than three ducks at any given time, and only a few eggs from each nest.

To note, it is not a place to linger. It is purely for hunts. The less the place is disturbed save for hunts, the more it will thrive.
