To the citizens of Saphriel,

It has been over thirty years since our cities have seen an attack from the cult of this scale upon the people. Though we have yet to witness any reported cases of the memory curse, if any of you or your loved ones notice gaps in their memory, please write to a holy mage. Take down a list of people that you’ve interacted with, as best as you can, to mitigate its spread. 

Undead have filled our streets and surrounded our walls, where many are still sighted lingering in alleyways. The guard and many volunteers have taken to the streets to go door-to-door to conduct wellness checks. The threat of plague is very real and we must respond swiftly in hopes that we may avoid another quarantine. The first symptoms of plague present as coughs and shakes, followed by vomiting. After the first week the flesh will pale with blackened fingertips and the whites of the eyes become yellowed. By the third week you or a loved one will have become bedridden and will die, the corpse rising again as an undead. 

We have medicine and holy mages that can purge this disease and save a life. If any individual exhibit these signs, please write to doctors and holy mages. Do not flee from the city, for this will only spread the disease further.

The hospital had been evacuated long before the attack, with plans for rebuild swiftly on the way. All wounded are thus redirected to the church for the time being where we have guard and a fully supported medical team on site to treat both injury and illness.
