A lesson will be held at the Merchants guild that goes over the complexity and capabilities for caramel and sugar, confections.
It will mainly consist of how to create confections and caramelize sugar, their uses and how one can further refine their produce associated to it.

A Reminder of Fairness

To those who assisted with the recent storm assault,

This slipped mention in court, but a complaint was received about instances from other locations and we wanted to stress that any claims on animal or monstrous parts from the assault should prioritize the people that initially went to help in the area they went to. This means if you initially went to the docks, your priority claim should be from the creatures felled there, if you went to help North Gate at first, it should likewise be the creatures there and not anywhere else, and the same for any other areas.

After the fact if anything is left over it can be shared freely, claims can be made by additional help received. Investigations will be made into this to ensure people have treated this with the fairness deserved for all.

Winds have been picking up recently. Citizens are to be advised that we are looking at a brutal spring storm at month's end. Remember to board up windows and shore up any flood defences you have. Try to stay indoors. Guard will be at hand to help as required.

Regarding Brightfield's Forests

Citizens of the Kingdom and Manadh Calad,

This is a general safety reminder about the forests outside of Brightfield's walls. Please do not enter them or bring damage to the trees within the forest, as they are protected by the fae that reside there and we cannot guarantee your safety if harm befalls you within that woodland if these warnings are ignored. You may find a small vessel at Falkvard Docks with a blue and gold sail which will take you across the bay; this is the safest means of travelling to and from the city, as well as the shortest.

If for any reason you are unable to travel by boat, the next safest thing is to follow the coast outside Falkvard's eastern farms to reach the wall, rather than entering the forest itself. However, you should still take the boat where possible. And if you should encounter a fae in or around the forest, remember to invoke your need for a fae friend before any further discussion is had.

Avian Medical Studies

I am in my fifth year of study as a veterinary medicine student. A recent event in my life has caused me to decide on the study of avian; specifically birds of prey, but I hope to look at a wide array of avians as I study, research and write for my thesis.
